Pioneer Debuts New CDJ-850 Digital Media Player For DJs

This device has the same club layout as the professional level media players  like the CDJ-2000 and CDJ-900. The 850 has a 206mm jog dial with rotary selector and browse buttons. The device supports a range of media formats like MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIFF form CD-r/RW discs or USB drives.

The 850 ships with rekordbox software that can analyze data like Wave, Beat Grid, BPM, and ID3 tags. The user can create cues and loop settings as well as create and edit playlists. The CDJ-850 will ship in August for $999.

ASUS has unveiled another one of its upcoming microATX motherboard namely the Rampage III GENE. Based on Intel X58 chipset, the board supports for LGA 1366 and hexacore processors, and features six DDR3-2200 memory slots and two PCIe 2.0 x16 slots for SLI and CrossFirex configurations. It also comes with a wide range of connectivity ports including two SATA 6.0 Gbps, six SATA 3.0 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 3.0, eleven USB 2.0, FireWire and 7.1 channel audio. China’s Hisense DTV’s To Come Equipped With DivX Plus HD

USB Clip Design - Concept

Perhaps in the future, we won't have to attach CDs or DVDs along with physical documents in order to share the necessary files, as flash drives will be cheap enough for us to give away as we currently do with CDs. HTC Hopes To Be Done With Android 2.2 Froyo Updates Before Christmas

We all know that HTC will update its 2010 smartphones to Android 2.2 Froyo, but “when exactly?” is a question that still has no answer.

We’ve heard that the HTC Desire could get Froyo in August, but other smartphones (like the Legend, Wildfire, Incredible and Evo 4G) might not be that lucky.

Eric Lin, global PR and online community manager at HTC, told Pocket-lint that he believes the company “would be done with Froyo updates before Christmas.”

That’s not really good news, and I’m already thinking that owners of the Legend or the Wildfire (which are not high-end devices) might have to wait for Froyo the longest (i.e. until the last month of the year).

Roadmap Leak Hints At A HTC Gold, Nokia E7, And Many More?

A recent leak by Omio.com claims to show the upcoming mobile phone release schedules for a UK mobile operator. Amongst the large list of phones, the most noticeable would have to be the HTC Gold, which could be HTC's first Windows Phone 7 device, we've previously heard whispers of such a phone heading for Sprint, though additional details on this phone weren't mentioned. Nokia Sells Its Wireless Modem Business

Nokia seems to be going through a rough patch at the moment, as the company has just announced that it will be selling its wireless modem business to Renesas Electronics Corp for $200 million, and transfer 1,100 workers to the Japanese company in the process. Nokia claims that the deal will enable Nokia to focus on its own core businesses, which does make some sense, considering that Nokia is facing some rather stiff competition from Android, and iOS devices. Nokia still says that the two companies will be increasing cooperation to develop high-speed modem technology, and the deal is still subject to the usual regulatory approvals.

HTC Droid Incredible Ship Date Pushed To August

The shortage of the Droid Incredible isn't too good news for Verizon  and HTC, as the carrier has already had to offer gift cards as an apology for the delay, while HTC might be worried that Verizon is allowing folks who pre-ordered the Droid Incredible  to change the order to the upcoming Droid X instead. Now the latest update is that this Android-powered phone will be shipping from August 3rd, which is still a good month away. The delay has been attributed to Samsung's inability to keep up with demand for its AMOLED displays, which caused HTC to look for alternatives for its mobile phones. Whoa, Apple just admitted that there's an issue with the iPhone 4's reception, but it might not be what you think:

Upon investigation, we were stunned to find that the formula we use to calculate how many bars of signal strength to display is totally wrong. Our formula, in many instances, mistakenly displays 2 more bars than it should for a given signal strength. For example, we sometimes display 4 bars when we should be displaying as few as 2 bars. Users observing a drop of several bars when they grip their iPhone in a certain way are most likely in an area with very weak signal strength, but they don't know it because we are erroneously displaying 4 or 5 bars. Their big drop in bars is because their high bars were never real in the first place.

HP ePrint Really Works - eMails And Attachments Printed From The Cloud

We don't blame you if you missed this the first time round, but HP's ePrint  service is probably best seen in action anyway. Fortunately, our brethren over at Engadget Chinese had the opportunity to play with these new web-connected printers recently. The idea is that each ePrint printer gets a unique email address, meaning you can send in a document from any email-enabled device to get it printed, thus eliminating the hassle of finding a computer and drivers or installing an app on certain smartphones and tablets. So how does one go about setting up this bad boy? According to our sister site, you must first register your printer on HP's ePrintCenter website to obtain a randomly-generated email address (don't worry, you can always get a new one if necessary), and then you're good to go, literally.
