32GB Samsung LRDIMM Memory Module Unveiled For Servers

32GB DDR3 RDIMM


Samsung unveiled 32 gigabyte (GB) load-reduced, dual-inline memory module (LRDIMM) for server applications. It is consists of 40 nanometer-class 72 4Gb DDR3 chips and allows memory capacity increase to up to 384 gigabytes per CPU. And compared with 512GB two-way server system equipped with 32GB DDR3 RDIMM, this memory module promises 1.5 times more, or in other words up to 768GB of increase in memory capacity. It also can process data at 1,333 megabit per second (Mbps).
